Commission on Cancer (CoC) 认证

The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (COC) is a 100 year old organization that is a consortium of professional organizations dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for patients with cancer through standard setting, 预防, 研究, education and the monitoring of comprehensive quality care. There are 1500 COC acc红色的ited hospitals in the U.S. This comprises only 24% of hospitals in the U.S. which treat 70-75% of all patients in the U.S. who are being treated for cancer. The Commission provides standards for institutions to assist in structuring their cancer program to be effective in providing consistent and comprehensive care for their cancer patients. Surveys take place by the COC every three years to assure that acc红色的ited hospitals are maintaining their exemplary level of care.
